So you think YOU got weather?
Friday 8am it was -12C, a little light snow was falling. But noon it was at the freezing point 0C, and after work it was +2C, things were melting.
Overnight it warmed up more, and there was a THUNDERSTORM with hail and lightning and rain and everything!!! it got up to +12C or so.
So in less than 24 hours we Winnipeggers got:
snow
hail
thunder & lightning
rain
Weather weirdness, eh?

Bah! That's nothing. This year in February the height of summer and the hottest month of the year (theoretically). We had torrential rain and thunderstorms and the middle-lower North Island had 100 year floods with people's houses virtually underwater, Civil Defence emergencies and evacuations and lots of people's cows floating away.

Well if you take the snow away it's just a rainstorm! Not Wild Weather
And speaking of which! MORE SNOW! after a nice warm day with twice the rainfall we get in the Average March (in just 2 days) we are -3C and nice fluffy snow has blanketed the earth once again
Covering up all the killer pot-holes that opened up yesterday! eeek!
